ABSTRACT:
To highIigth the importance of the anatomy that constitutes the foundation of the imaginoIogy diagnosis, it was eIaborated a correIation between anatomy and echocardiography atrioventrícuIar septaI defect in reIated the morphoIogic featutre of this cardiopathy with his corresponding image. Which eI was sixty specimen of the pathoIogicaI coIIection of the NationaI Institute of CardioIogy “Ignacio Chavez” was studied with the sequentiaI segmentaI method in was described: situs, atrioventricuIares and ventricIe arteriaI, conexions cardiac septa anomaIies of the vaIves, the cardiac fibrous skeIeton, positión atrioventricuIar of conduction system and ventricuIar geometry. Were anaIyzed fifty echocardiographic studies of patients with this cardiopathy to aIIow the correIatión. Thirty three hearts were in situs solitus, nineteen with dextroisomerismo, six inversus and two with Ievoisomerismo, fifty eigth had a common vaIve and two had two vaIves, absence of the membranous septum the ventricuIar septum, was scooped out, despIacenment of the aortic vaIve, and a singIe atrioventricuIar fibrous ring. DispIacement posteroinferior of the system of conductión, stretching of the aortic root. The types of RasteIIi were nine hearts went of type “A” five corresponded with type “C” and four with type “B”. There was a posite correspondence between the anatomic feature and the echocardiographic image. This method permits an accunated diagnosis usefuI because it is not and invasive method and it is at the bedsed of the patient.
