Abstract:
ABSTRACT:
Cancer is a process of uncontrolled growth and spread of cells, which are called
tumors and it can appear anywhere in the body. In 2012, 14 million new cases
were produced and these are expected to increase 70% annually. In 2015 there
were 754 thousand deaths caused by gastric cancer. This condition develops for
different reasons; however, the most common is the diet. The objective of this
research is to characterize images of gastric cancer to identify symptoms of this
disease; were analyzed the responses to deterministic and non-deterministic
variables, those that help the early detection of gastric cancer, to give timely
attention to this condition. To achieve the objectives of this research, methods and
techniques of software engineering were used with a systemic and systematic
approach, which allow the characterization and analysis of images of the digestive
tract
