ABSTRACT: This paper explains a recycling process kind of physical where the Multilayer Aseptic Container (MAC) was the main raw material, together with a binder (sawdust) to get a material that is intended to be used in a similar way to MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) for furniture construction. The process involved the following stages: collection, cutting, washing, grinding, mixing, molding, compression and drying. For mixng, the ground MAC and sawdust were used, to have a compact dough four different adhesives were sed: paste, glue, glue (with final polyester coating) and resin. Due to the drying requirments for mixtures with paste and glue an experimental design based on three variables was established: percentage of sawdust in the mixture (10% and 20%), temperature (80ºC and 180ºC), in addition to an intermediate of 120ºC, and time of drying (2 and 6 hours). In carrying out the experiments, it was identified that the best drying conditions for making the material with paste or glue were 120 ° C for six hours. In the case of the resin mixture, the experimental design was not neccesary because it dried outdoors. Specimens were molded with all the compositions to different tests in parallel to the MDF: Mechanical (Tensile Strength) and Physical (Thermogravimetric Analysis) and Accelerated Weathering. The test results showed that all the compositions of the material obtained withstood extreme conditions of preassure, temperature and humidity. Besides to being lighter than commercial wood. It was observed that
