Abstract:
ABSTRACT: This research has the finality put into action the numeric model Weather Research and Forecasting - Advanced Research Hurricane (WRF-ARH) in reanalysis mode, to simulate the Katrina Hurricane trayectory (26-30 August 2005) and Wilma Hurricane (19-25 October 2005). According with the information give for the North American Regional Reanalysis (NARR). For the simulations was necesary use a vortex re-localization system, adding dinamic grids with a resolution of 30 km per node and another one with 20 km resolution per node, coordinates hybrids including for a better topographic follow up for the correction of the particles pull also 30 levels were located vertically to get realistic simulations and therefore, have trajectories according with the Hurricanes National Center of Miami, getting a comparation between both. This comparation was necesary because we ignore totally about of the grid use configuration and the lateral frontier conditions and/or periodicity, also the use of the proyection (grid) intertropically of conic section. On the other hand, it made a statical analysis for each simulation to get a maximal range and minimal error for the sistem coordinates (latitude and longitude) vortex’s dinamic, the result was that the minimun error was in the thinest grids opposite according with the NHC, the hurricane has better visibility that when it’s considering a grid with less resolution, in this the threshold (trayectory) is more and it gets away from the real forecast because of the complex tophography presence (Mexico) it is not very common that an hurricane trun into an intensific hurricane on the continental zone. It is going to realize comparatives with the intensity values with the meteorologicals parameters that were the result of the simulation from the model WRF to get a high quality in the study of the vortex. Ultimately, it suggest the use of coupled models (ocean-atmospheric) with the finally of the parametrize the model and get realistic result in the hurricane dinamic from its develope until its dissipation.
