ABSTRACT:
The strawberry (Fragaria x ananassa Duch.) belongs to the group of berries or strawberries. Its fruit is considered to be of high commercial value with benefits for human consumption, however; The agricultural production of this strawberry conventionally, like other crops of interest, requires the intensive use of chemical fertilizers, which has generated serious problems in the productive environment and the environment. Therefore, strategies have been implemented to help reduce this problem, such as the use of mycorrhizal fungi (MF). Mycorrhiza or mycorrhization is the symbiotic association of the fungus with the roots of plants. This association is considered mutualistic because both individuals benefit. Therefore, the objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of a consortium of mycorrhizal fungi native to wild blueberry (Vaccinium stenophyllum Steud.) And of a commercial organic product containing two species of the genus Glomus (G. intraradices and G. fasciculatum) on the association, development and quality of commercial strawberries under different levels of phosphorus under greenhouse conditions. Collection of rhizospheric soil from blueberry plants was carried out, as well as isolation of mycorrhizal fungi (MF). To evaluate its association with strawberry plants, a preliminary study was carried out that revealed the efficacy of the mycorrhizal consortia used against the attack of the phytopathogenic fungus Fusarium sp. A second experiment was carried out in order to reach the production and determination of the internal quality of the strawberry fruits, for this nine treatments were established, all of them with var plants. "Festival" and different levels of phosphorus fertilization at 0, 30 and 60 ppm. Three treatments were inoculated with the wild MH consortium (HMS), three with the commercial HM consortium (HMC) and three without mycorrhizal inoculum (CTL). All treatments had 10 repetitions. The parameters evaluated were: internal quality of the fruit, yield, colonization, height and chlorophyll of the plants. The results were analyzed with a bidirectional analysis in the R Studio program. The treatments that were inoculated with the mycorrhizal consortia turned out to be statistically superior (p <0.05) for most of the parameters analyzed compared to the CTL treatments, however; Greater colonization, efficacy in most of the fruit quality parameters and yield were observed in the treatments inoculated with HMS regardless of the different levels of added P.
