Abstract:
ABSTRACT: In this written assignment, the fundamentals on the efforts to which the formations are subjected are presented, which will allow to determine the equivalent circulation density (DEC), which will lead us to achieve the objective of extracting the hydrocarbon through the operating window, in simple terms it is not more than an allowable range of fluid densities or weights, required to not compromise wellbore stability and reach the target. To understand the importance of the equivalent circulating density (DEC), the information required and used in an example well, the results obtained and the problems that arose in some stages are described in this written assignment.
