Abstract:
ABSTRACT: In the present research evidence analysis of mathematical arguments of a group of students to resolve a teaching sequence on the improper integral is shown in an environment of use of technology, with the aim of identifying lines of reasoning and argumentation and describe their mathematical thinking. For the development of the sequence the ACODESA methodology Hitt and Gonzalez-Martin (2015: 202) was used and the data analysis argumentative model of Toulmin (1958: 17) was used, which allowed to describe the construction, content and structure of the arguments the students to move between different representations for their solution. The results of this research show that an environment of interaction and discussion of arguments favor the appearance and technology plays a decisive role in shaping the mathematical arguments particularly to present and defend their analogies.
