ABSTRACT: The hypertriglycerides is the increase of triglycerides in the blood, in the present time this factor is in first place like etiology in the cause of atherosclerosis provoked one diminution of sanguineous irrigation of the affected organ and causing like consequence infarcts to the myocardium and accidents brain-vasculity.
The present work has the purpose, to investigate the effectiveness of acupuncture, like a therapeutic alternative for treatment of dislipidemias and particularly of hypertriglycerides, through the stimulation of the point Fenlong (E40).
Methodology: I am made a study in 30 patients who distributed themselves to the orange blossom in two groups: Group A or Experimental group of 15 patients and Group B or group Control of 15 patients.
To group A or Experimental, I am made an Initial measurement to him of the triglycerides numbers of plasmátics, later were applied 10 sessions to them of acupuncture in the point Fenlog (E40), during 20 minutes 2 sessions per week during 5 weeks without applying any technique in special, and later to this treatment I am made a Final measurement of the plasmatics triglycerides levels.
To Group B or Control, I am made an Initial measurement to him of the triglycerides numbers of plasmátics, later were applied 10 sessions to them of acupuncture in a non Point, during 20 minutes 2 sessions per week during 5 weeks without applying any technique in special, and later to this treatment I am made a Final measurement of the plasmatics triglycerides levels.
Results: In the group A or Experimental the following ones were obtained results: A diminution of the triglycerides plasmatic numbers of 15% with a value of P =.001.
In group B or Control the following ones were obtained results: Reduction in the plasmatic as numbers of the triglycerides ones was not obtained, with a value of P=.804
Conclusions: In the present work of investigation I arrive myself at conclusion that the acupuntural stimulation in the point Fenlong (E40) of participant patients in the study are more effective that the application of placebo acupuncture since profit a diminution of the plasmatic numbers of triglycerides from 15%, after this analysis we reached the conclusion that the application of real acupuncture is a good treatment and that in combination with western medical treatment it is an excellent alternative to improve quality of life of these patients.
