dc.description.abstract RESUMEN: El objetivo de este trabajo es contribuir con el tema en la estimación de esfuerzos en pozos petroleros. Actualmente, las técnicas utilizadas en la industria son desarrolladas sin un marco de referencia sólido, por lo que en este trabajo se abordará una metodología para la estimación del campo de esfuerzos en una región, por medio de los modelos geomecánicos descritos en la literatura, los cuales están definidos por las ecuaciones de kirsch para pozos verticales y sus adaptaciones hechas por Aadnoy para su uso en pozos desviados. Cabe destacar, que mediante estas ecuaciones y el uso de métodos computacionales, se llevara a cabo un análisis con datos obtenidos a través de las diferentes pruebas de campo y se compararán resultados con datos reales para validarlos, así mismo, es importante mencionar que este trabajo puede ser utilizado en conjunto a las técnicas actuales con el fin de reducir el índice de incertidumbre que existe al momento de perforar, debido a que en promedio 60% de las perforaciones hechas solo pueden ser utilizadas para producción. ABSTRACT: The objective of working on this topic about the stability of Wellbores through the kirsch’s equations for vertical wellbores and Aadnoy equations for daviated wellbores is important in order to develop research on the determination of its behaviour when the borehole is under stresses that exists in the área, where drilling is common, on the other hand, the region must to be rigurosouly studied and previously explored by the team in charged of developing the study of the earth’s behaviour. There are different methods to get geo mechanical conditions in the place, so it is essential to develop a software which is really able to get the concentration of stress that is in the area in conjuction with this real conditions and get the directions that they have, the importance of this research remains in the fact that currently it is not easy to get it and all the tests which are being developed to get the operative window by the companies, are pretty expensive. Currently the demand of petroleum has been increasing by the countries, it is a fact that all of this actions have been caused by the increase of the population worldwide and the economic dependence that exists. Still, it doesn’t exist a technologically able way to substitute this raw material and all of their applications, in which it is involved. Although, there is an increasing number of investment that the companies are managing to have in new technology to get better results, is a situation that shows us the demand that exists to improve the ways to extract this raw material, for instance, therefore one of the situations that happens when the perforation is being developed is that there are some places, where it isn´t known which geological conditions exist, as a result, sometimes the wellbore will collapse and the whole infrastructure that the companies or countries invest, is lost. By the way, this research aims to help in the petroleum industry, in the application of a method which can be used practically, because currently, only 60% of the wellbores builded can be used for explotation, this is a huge problem because the industry sometimes doesn´t have the certainty to know if the wellbore could be colapse or not, so far, the only way that they have to verify is through softwares that most of the times aren’t precise enough on a 100%, to round up, this work wants to decrease the uncertainty as far as possible in conjuction with upgraded techniques. es
