Estandarización de gestión ambiental en materia de residuos peligrosos

Abstract

RESUMEN: Se presentan las actividades realizadas durante el periodo de prácticas profesionales realizadas en la Compañía Cervecera de Zacatecas (CCZ), en materia de Residuos Peligrosos. Se realizaron tres Procedimientos Estándar de Operación (SOP) para dar cumplimiento al pilar de Medio Ambiente que maneja Voyager Plant Optimization (VPO), sistema de gestión desarrollado por grupo ABInBev y ejecutado en la Compañía Cervecera de Zacatecas (CCZ). Dos de los procedimientos son operativos, el primero corresponde a las acciones dirigidas para el Manejo de Residuos Peligrosos (RP), mientras que el segundo corresponde al Embarque de Residuos Peligrosos. Ambos procedimientos están encaminados a ejecutar las operaciones necesarias para un Manejo Integral de los Residuos Peligrosos en la CCZ, y con ello dar cumplimiento a la normatividad ambiental aplicable en materia de residuos peligrosos y alcanzar las expectativas que VPO maneja dentro de ese rubro. El último procedimiento está enfocado a la Gestión de Residuos Peligrosos, principalmente a las obligaciones de Gran Generador de Residuos Peligrosos que la CCZ posee; como lo es la elaboración de la Cédula de Operación Anual, su Plan de Manejo de Residuos Peligrosos, dar de alta un nuevo Residuo Peligroso o en la peor de las situaciones, realizar el informe en caso de derrames ante la Autoridad. Con la ejecución de estos procedimientos se pretende fortalecer el pilar de Medio Ambiente del sistema VPO y, por consiguiente, preservar el ambiente evitando los riesgos producto de un mal manejo de Residuos Peligrosos, así como la extracción de recursos.

ABSTRACT: The activities carried out during the period of professional practices carried out in the Compañía Cervecera de Zacatecas (CCZ), in the matter of Hazardous Waste are presented. Three Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) were carried out to comply with the Environment pillar managed by Voyager Plant Optimization (VPO), a management system developed by the ABInBev group and executed in the Compañía Cervecera de Zacatecas (CCZ). Two of the procedures are operational, the first one corresponds to the actions directed to the Management of Hazardous Waste (HW), while the second corresponds to the Boarding of Hazardous Waste. Both procedures are aimed at executing the necessary operations for an Integrated Management of Hazardous Waste in the CCZ, and thereby comply with the applicable environmental regulations on hazardous waste and meet the expectations that VPO manages within that area. The last procedure is focused on the Management of Hazardous Waste, mainly to the obligations of Large Generator of Hazardous Waste that the CCZ owns; as it is the elaboration of the Annual Operation Certificate, its Hazardous Waste Management Plan, to register a new Hazardous Waste or in the worst of situations, to make the report in case of spills before the Authority.
