Prevalencia de adicciones en habitantes de la alcaldía Milpa Alta, CDMX de 2018 a 2019

Abstract

RESUMEN:Hoy en día el abuso de drogas licitas como ilícitas en todo el mundo, se ha convertido en una problemática de salud; que pone en constante riesgo la salud, convivencia familiar y la estabilidad social de la comunidad, problema que como médicos no se tiene el conocimiento necesario para diagnosticar y abordar a los pacientes adictos. Objetivo: Establecer la prevalencia de adicciones a sustancias legales e ilegales en habitantes de la Alcaldía Milpa Alta, CDMX. Método: Determinar la prevalencia y factores de riesgo del consumo de sustancias legales e ilegales mediante el POSIT y SINVEA. Resultados: Los 265 pacientes estudiados del 2018-2019 se detecta que hay un incremento de un año a otro, donde la brecha en cuanto a grupo etario es: femenino 38.11% y masculino 61.88%; en cuanto a edad cabe destacar que el rango más importante es de 10-29 años donde cubre un 80.74% de la muestra total. Conclusiones: El consumo de drogas legales e ilegales en México presenta una problemática ya que se debe considerar la complejidad que representa, así como otras características que dificultan el control de consumo; los datos aquí presentados muestran el importante aumento del consumo de drogas ilegales en general, tanto en hombres como en mujeres. ABSTRAT:Nowadays, the abuse of legal and illegal drugs throughout the world has become a health problem; which puts the health, family life and social stability of the community at constant risk, a problem that as doctors we do not have the necessary knowledge to diagnose and address addicted patients. Objective: To establish the prevalence of addictions to legal and illegal substances in inhabitants of the Mayor's Office of Milpa Alta, CDMX. Method: Determine the prevalence and risk factors of the consumption of legal and illegal substances through POSIT and SINVEA. Results: The 265 patients studied for the year 2018-2019, it is detected that there is an increase from one year to another, where the gap in terms of age group is: female 38.11% and male 61.88%; Regarding age, it should be noted that the most important range is 10-29 years, where it covers 80.74% of the total sample. Conclusions: The consumption of legal and illegal drugs in Mexico presents a problem since the complexity it represents must be considered, as well as other characteristics that make it difficult to control consumption; the data presented here show the significant increase in the consumption of illegal drugs in general, both in men and women.
