Prototipo de máquina separadora de café fruto maduro e inmaduro usando métodos de identificación de color

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente trabajo terminal, plantea la realización de un prototipo de una máquina separadora de café fruto por colorimetría, utilizando sensores de color. Actualmente, México es uno de los principales productores de café en el mundo, para poder llegar a ese punto, la industria mexicana tuvo que cambiar los métodos empleados en la recolección y procesamiento del fruto del café, esto trajo consigo la necesidad de utilizar máquinas y herramientas que agilizaran estas actividades, mismas que, si bien es cierto, hicieron que el café pudiera ser comercializado en grandes masas, no garantizan que el proceso sea de calidad y por tanto el producto final, esto representa grandes problemas a los cafeticultores de México. La implementación del prototipo descrito en este documento se concentrará en resolver uno de los principales problemas en el procesamiento del fruto del café, este problema es la separación del fruto en verdes y rojos (maduros) para su correcta clasificación y con el mínimo maltrato posible. Hoy en día, existen máquinas que realizan esta actividad mediante métodos mecánicos, que tienen un porcentaje bastante alto de eficiencia en cuanto a separación, sin embargo, no son tan buenas con el manejo de los frutos, puesto que maltratan los granos verdes, dejando un gran porcentaje de éstos en pérdida total como producto comercial, esto se traduce en pérdidas monetarias considerables para las grandes casas productoras. Con el desarrollo de este proyecto no solo se pretende ayudar a las fincas de café, sino que se busca que el prototipo sea de un precio mucho más bajo que las máquinas que se usan actualmente y con esto, que los pequeños agricultores de México tengan acceso a este tipo de tecnologías, haciendo el trabajo mucho más rápido, con menor costo y esfuerzo. ABSTRACT: In the present final project, the accomplishment of a separating machine of coffee considers fruit by colorimetry, using color sensors. At the moment, Mexico is one of the main producers of coffee in the world, to be able to arrive at that point, the Mexican industry had to change the methods used in the harvesting and processing of the fruit of the coffee, this brought with himself the necessity to use machines and tools that made agile these activities, same that although are certain, caused that the coffee could be commercialized in great masses, do not guarantee that the process is of quality and therefore the end item also, this represents great problems the coffee growers of Mexico. The implementation of the prototype described in this document will be concentrated in solving one of the main problems in the processing of the fruit of the coffee, this problem is the separation of the fruit in green and red (mature) for its correct classification and with minimum I mistreat possible. Nowadays, machines exist which they make this activity by means of mechanical methods, that have a quite high percentage of efficiency as far as separation, nevertheless, are not so good with the handling of the fruits, since they mistreat green grains, leaving a great percentage of these in total losses like commercial product, this is translated in considerable monetary losses for the great producing houses. With the development of this project not only it is tried to help the coffee property, but that one looks for that the prototype is of a price much more under which the machines that are used now and with this, that the small agriculturists of Mexico much more have access to this type of technologies, doing the fast work, with smaller cost and effort.
