Aspectos relevantes de algunas regiones HII

Abstract

RESUMEN:

En esta tesis se presenta un estudio con espectroscopía de rendija larga de las principales propiedades físicas (morfología, densidad y velocidad) de las regiones HII gigantes extragalácticas NGC 604 y NGC 595, en la galaxia M 33, perteneciente al Grupo Local. La primera parte del trabajo constituye una revisión de las bases para el presente trabajo, es decir, las características generales de este tipo de nebulosas, así como la física involucrada en su estudio. En la segunda parte, se discute el procesamiento de datos y las técnicas utilizadas para la creación de mapas bidimensionales de las propiedades físicas estudiadas, se presentan los resultados obtenidos y se realiza su correspondiente análisis.

ABSTRACT:

This thesis presents a study with long-slit spectroscopy of the main physical properties (morphology, density and velocity) of the two giant extragalactic HII regions, NGC 604 and NGC 595, located in the galaxy M 33 in the Local Group. The rst part of the work is a review of the basic concepts for the investigation, it means, the general features of this type of nebulae and the physics involve in their study. The second part presents the data processing, the techniques used for the develop of the bidimensional maps of the physical properties studied, the obtained results and their related analysis.
