Turismo arqueoastronómico: diseño de una ruta turística arqueoastronómica en la zona arqueológica de Teotihuacan como un servicio turístico innovador

Abstract

Las nuevas tendencias del Turismo Cultural han permitido el desarrollo de mercados apoyados en resultados de investigaciones científicas, tal es el caso del Turismo Astronómico, que se lleva a cabo en observatorios y campamentos de México y Sudamérica. El Turismo Arqueoastronómico es todo viaje turístico motivado por conocer, comprender y disfrutar un destino arqueológico determinado, destacando los rasgos de su cosmovisión y esquemas de vida durante la época de su esplendor. El conocimiento relacionado con estos destinos se ha obtenido a través de las ciencias involucradas con la Astronomía, la Arqueología, la Etnografía, la Historia y La Historia del Arte. Estas ciencias ayudan a conocer las culturas antiguas por medio de los vestigios arqueológicos que se pueden apreciar en la actualidad. Las zonas arqueológicas poseen atractivos que pueden conformar productos turísticos novedosos. Visitar una zona arqueológica en México está motivado por lo general con el fin de comprender el esquema de vida que tenían las culturas mesoamericanas en las épocas en que tuvieron su esplendor. En la actualidad se sabe por investigaciones recientes que la mayoría de las construcciones mesoamericanas están relacionadas con algún fenómeno calendárico-astronómico, la medición del tiempo y los calendarios. El Turismo Arqueoastronómico en México está enfocado a disfrutar destinos con atractivos arqueológicos prehispánicos a través de rutas turísticas que permitan apreciarse desde un punto de vista distinto. La presente investigación propone un servicio turístico innovador para ofrecer al visitante, desde una perspectiva científica y cultural, información que permita apreciar algunos rasgos culturales específicos de la Zona Arqueológica de Teotihuacan, relacionados con la cosmovisión antigua. De esta manera se resaltan los conocimientos astronómicos utilizados para la construcción de sus templos, basados en el movimiento aparente del Sol en los momentos de los equinoccios, solsticios y pasos cenitales obedeciendo a la estructura de los calendarios solar y ritual de Teotihuacan. El diseño de dos Rutas Turísticas Arqueoastronómicas consideró información sobre eventos solares singulares o alineaciones en fechas específicas de estructuras arquitectónicas y la oportunidad de apreciarlas. Las Rutas Turísticas Arqueoastronómicas en Teotihuacan permiten apreciar La Ciudadela, el Templo de Quetzalcóatl, la Pirámide del Sol, la Cueva Astronómica, los marcadores punteados, la Avenida de los Muertos, el Mural del Jaguar, la Pirámide de la Luna y el Palacio de las Mariposas o Quetzalpapalotl, al igual que los Conjuntos Habitacionales, como Tetitla, Atetelco y Tepantitla

The new tendencies in Cultural Tourism have allowed the development of markets supported in results of scientific researches, so is the case of the Astronomical Tourism that is carried out in observatories and campings of Mexico and South America. The Archeoastronomical Tourism it is all tourist trips motivated to know, to understand and to enjoy a certain archaeological destiny, emphasizing the characteristics of its Cosmo-vision and schemes of life during the time of its splendor. The knowledge related to these destinies has been obtained through sciences like to Astronomy, Archaeology, the Ethnography, the History and the History of the Art. These sciences help to know the old cultures by means of the archaeological vestiges that can be appreciated at the present time. The archaeological sites have attractive that can conform new tourist products. To visit an archaeological site in Mexico is motivated generally with the purpose of understanding the life scheme that the Mesoamerican cultures had when they had its splendor. Nowadays it is known by recent investigations that most of the Mesoamerican constructions were related to some calendar-astronomical phenomenon, the measurement of the time and the calendars. The Archeoastronomical Tourism in Mexico is focused to enjoy archaeological pre-Hispanic destinies, through tourist routes that allow to be appraised from a different point of view. The present investigation proposes innovating tourist service from a scientific and cultural perspective, offers the visitor information that to appreciate some specific cultural characteristics of the Archaeological Site of Teotihuacan related with the old Cosmo vision. This way the used astronomical knowledge for the construction of their temples, based on the apparent movement of the Sun at the moments of the equinoxes, zenithal solstices are emphasized and steps and obeying to the structure of the calendars solar and ritual of Teotihuacan. The design of two Archeoastronomical Tourist Routes considered information on singular solar events or alignments in specific dates of architectonic structures and the opportunity to appreciate them. The Archeoastronomic Tourist Routes in Teotihuacan allow to appreciate La Ciudadela, The Temple of Quetzalcoatl, the Pyramid of the Sun, the Astronomical Cave, the crossed pecked circles, La Calzada de los Muertos, the Mural of the Jaguar, the Pyramid of the Moon and the Palace of Butterflies or Quetzalpapálotl will be able to be appraised, like the Habitation Sets, like Tetitla, Atetelco and Tepantitla
