El método o métodos para investigar en bioética

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The investigation in Bioethics has a particular object of study because this requires a research method according to the characteristics and each has characteristics about their shaped of approach the field of study. In the history of science has been studied the fact that there isn’t a unique method to achieve the evolution or advancement of a science as the Bioethics that is transdisciplinaryc and it doesn't exempt the Bioethics to find the rules of the methods. Therefore the objective of this thesis was identify the method or methods of research used in academic publications, as Bioethics Master of Science thesis in ESM-IPN and Acta Bioethica Journal during the period 2006 to 2012. For achieve this analysis it has been making a research of kind documentary, because this method allow to obtain new documents to which it is possible to describe, explain, analyze , compare, criticize and other intellectual activities, a topic or issue by analyzing information sources performing document analysis, document synthesis and hermeneutics, to set a precedent and support for future research, finding that method are investigated in bioethics discourse analysis and content primarily a qualitative approach.

RESUMEN: La investigación de un determinado objeto de estudio requiere de un método de investigación acorde a las características del mismo, la Bioética se conforma de diferentes perspectivas y cada una de ellas tiene características en cuanto a su forma de abordar el campo de estudio. En la historia de la ciencia se ha estudiado el hecho de que no existe un solo método para lograr la evolución o avance de la ciencia y, la Bioética al ser una transdisciplina no se encuentra exenta de estas reglas; el objetivo de esta tesis fue identificar el método o métodos de investigación que se emplean en publicaciones académicas entendidas como Tesis de Maestría en Ciencias en Bioética de ESM- IPN y Artículos de la Revista Acta Bioethica durante el período 2006 al año 2012. Para lograr este análisis se realizó una investigación de tipo documental debido a que esté método permite obtener documentos nuevos en los que es posible describir, explicar, analizar, comparar, criticar entre otras actividades intelectuales, un tema o asunto mediante el análisis de fuentes de información, realizando análisis documental, síntesis documental y hermenéutica, para establecer un precedentes y apoyo a futuras para investigar, encontrando que los método para investigar en bioética son el análisis de discurso y contenido principalmente con un enfoque cualitativo.
