House Nature arquitectura brutalista aplicada al diseño de residencia en el desierto de Mexicali Baja California 2020-1

Abstract

RESUMEN: El planteamiento del tema de esté trabajo surge al analizar la situación actual en la que estamos viviendo, retomando viejas enseñanzas de la arquitectura y aplicando una respuesta pensada en el diseño arquitectónico. Hoy en día la arquitectura ha ido cambiando a lo largo del tiempo, y estudiando las distintas corrientes que han surgido en diversas épocas, podemos notar cómo se volvió replicable, algo que hace décadas se dio en las grandes ciudades. Los edificios podían crearse en cualquier parte del mundo, perdiendo un poco de identidad, volviéndola universal. Fue por esta razón que decidí apegarme a un estilo que iba encaminado a los gustos, recursos y materiales con los que el sitio en particular brindaba. Como estudiante de ESIA Tecamachalco he aprendido que forma-función debe ir de la mano, con la formación que nos forjan puedo crear mentalmente un diseño pensando en la estructura necesaria que debo implementar para dar funcionalidad y diseño que brinde seguridad y confort para los usuarios que vivirán el espacio que yo podré crearles a partir de sus necesidades. En los últimos semestres de mi carrera tuve la oportunidad de conocer la parte norte del país, en donde las características climáticas, de suelo, agua, sociales, culturales, incluso un poco de normatividad cambia. A qué me refiero con esto, Mexicali es una ciudad en donde la cultura asiática es parte de ella, el clima es caluroso la mayor parte del tiempo, el suelo es distinto a CDMX, en donde ya estamos acostumbrados a calcular previniendo sismos de intensidad alta. Fue en ese momento donde decidí basar mi trabajo final en un proyecto bien planteado que en verdad se llevaría a la construcción, esa es la meta de un Arquitecto; ver su trabajo vuelto una realidad. No sólo sería un diseño, se volvería el hogar de una familia que había confiado en mí para llevarlo a ejecución. El proyecto es la aplicación de las enseñanzas teóricas de la arquitectura brutalista en el diseño arquitectónico en una casa residencial, con estructura de concreto armado y muros de tabique; ubicada en la Ciudad de Mexicali, Baja California, México. Hice una investigación para profundizar en la implementación de las bases teóricas, destacando los aspectos más puros que pudieran funcionar en un diseño hecho a partir de una corriente que fue funcional y respetuosa con los materiales. Trabaje en base a las necesidades de la familia que estaría ocupando este proyecto, los espacios fueron estudiados y analizados con la finalidad de tener la mejor ubicación, con buena iluminación y ventilación natural; ya que parte del concepto del diseño es “Nature”, estar en sincronía con la naturaleza aprovechando todo lo que nos ofrece, siendo respetuosos y sustentable al momento de edificar. ABSTRACT: The approach to the theme of this work arises from analyzing the current situation in which we are living, taking up old teachings of architecture and applying a thoughtful response to architectural design. Today architecture has been changing over time, and studying the different currents that have emerged in different eras, we can see how it became replicable, something that happened decades ago in big cities. Buildings could be created anywhere in the world, losing a bit of identity, making it universal. It was for this reason that I decided to stick to a style that was aimed at the tastes, resources and materials that the particular site provided. As a student of ESIA Tecamachalco I have learned that form-function must go hand in hand, with the training that they forge us I can mentally create a design thinking about the necessary structure that I must implement to provide functionality and design that provides safety and comfort for users who they will live the space that I will be able to create for them based on their needs. opportunity to get to know the northern part of the country, where the climatic, soil, water, social, cultural characteristics, even a little bit of regulations, change. What do I mean by this, Mexicali is a city where Asian culture is part of it, the weather is hot most of the time, the soil is different from CDMX, where we are already used to calculating preventing high intensity earthquakes . It was at that moment that I decided to base my final work on a well-planned project that would actually lead to construction, that is the goal of an Architect; see your work become a reality. It would not only be a design, it would become the home of a family that had trusted me to carry it out. The project is the application of the theoretical teachings of brutalist architecture in the architectural design of a residential house, with a reinforced concrete structure and brick walls; located in the City of Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. I did an investigation to deepen the implementation of the theoretical bases, highlighting the purest aspects that could work in a design made from a current that was functional and respectful of materials. Work based on the needs of the family that would be occupying this project, the spaces were studied and analyzed in order to have the best location, with good lighting and natural ventilation; since part of the design concept is "Nature", being in sync with nature taking advantage of everything it offers us, being respectful and sustainable when building.
