ABSTRACT:
The blueberry is native to North America, belonging to the Vaccinium genus, highlighting V. corymbosum L. Sinaloa is one of the leader states in blueberry production. Its production is under hydroponic conditions with inert substrates in pots, with localized irrigation and nutritive solutions to give the plant the adequate nutritional requirements. The blueberry is a crop susceptible to fungal diseases that will alter its development, shorten its productive life, and affect the plant and its production. This situation leads to carry out the present research work whose objective is to know the interaction of different relations of nitrates and ammonium with species of Trichoderma spp. and Bacillus spp. natives of Sinaloa applied preventively to control the disease caused by Alternaria spp. in blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum L.) cultivation under laboratory and greenhouse conditions. The results showed that the Trichoderma strain (T0) stood out for its in vitro antagonistic capacity against the pathogenic Alternaria spp. and its ability to synthesize AIA (25 μg∙mL-1). The strain of Bacillus spp. B18 has a greater inhibition zone as an in vitro antagonist against the pathogenic Alternaria spp. and synthesize AIA (15 μg∙mL-1). In the evaluation of physiological parameters, the combined treatment of B. cereus and T. harzianum and nitrogen fertilization in the form of NH4+ against A. alternata significantly increased plant height (75.75 cm), biomass dry weight (17.5 g), regarding the nutrition treatment in the form of NO3- without microorganisms, it was obtained in dry weight (5.48 g). The combined use of T. harzianum and B. cereus enhance the antagonistic effect against the pathogen, obtaining 100% control of the disease.
