Abstract
The objective of this research is aimed to study the negative impact of
neoliberalism in the Mexican financial system; proposing new scenarios
for improvement, since its operation has not benefited society as a
whole. Because neoliberalism, has had a bad influence according to their
basic principles he supports, hindering the proper efficiency of the
financial system in Mexico, whose advocates support the economic
liberalization, financial liberalization, free trade, open markets,
deregulation and downsizing the public sector, weakening the state. As
is known, neoliberalism seeks privatization, reduced social spending,
concession to the private sector; supporting the idea that private
management is more efficient and appropriate to the public service. The
hypothesis If we eliminate the elements of the neoliberalism that provoke
social crises in the social well-being and that concern the financial
system current Mexican, at the time, his influence will be positive and the
financial Mexican system will work in benefit of the development of the
economy and of the social well-being. The statistical method used to
establish that the negative influence of neoliberalism has neglected the
original goals of the Mexican financial system, as they have not led to the
development of the economy in the interests of social welfare. The study
concludes by recognizing that there is a financial decontrol, which should
have taken steps to reduce the power of the commercial banks and a
better share of the wealth, which will be corrected by strengthening the
new policies to the State.
