Abstract:
ABSTRACT: Electric mobility is increasingly becoming a viable transportation option, both for its energy effectiveness as well as its great environmental focus and its fight against road saturation, since they present several small alternatives such as bicycles, motorcycles, scooters, among others. In Mexico the sale tricycle is widely known , but this popular transport has several drawbacks: it is tiring to use over long distances, and the weight of the merchandise limits the speed of transportation. In this project a mechatronic system was designed integrating within a sales tricycle chassis a direct current motor controlled by a PI system, a traction system that combines the torques delivered by both the user’s pedaling and the motor, a security system that makes it difficult to steal the vehicle, and a support system that will protect the electronic systems. Once the implementation of what was proposed and redesigned in the model within TT1 was completed, a vehicle capable of traveling at 18 km / h on a horizontal surface with a load of 100 kg was obtained.
