La actividad turística en la economía de libre mercado 1982-2006

Abstract

El presente trabajo analiza la actividad turística desde el punto de vista económico en el periodo 1982-2006. Para dar sustento teórico y metodológico a la investigación se incorporan propuestas derivadas del Método Científico y Teoría de Escenarios, Radiales Determinantes, entre otros conceptos como el FODA y postulados que sirven de apoyo a la investigación, con el propósito de vislumbrar el horizonte del desempeño estadístico del turismo. Dado el método, concepto y formas de procesar la información que existe, se infiere, que la actividad turística camina de la mano con los planes de desarrollo del país con sus altas y bajas, por lo que en apariencia, no cumplen, ambas biunívocamente, con el desarrollo turístico en rendimiento productivo y competitividad de largo alcance. Al final del trabajo y con los resultados del análisis se generan propuesta en forma de estrategias para el sector como lo son la reestructuración de nichos de mercado turístico y la educación turística

The present work analyzes the tourist activity from the economic point of view in the 1982 to 2006 period. In order to give theoretical and methodological sustenance to the research, it is provided with proposals derived of the Scientific Method, Theory of Scenarios and Decisive Radial, among other concepts SWOT, and postulates that support the research with the purpose of analyzing the statistical performance horizon of tourism. Given the prosecution and behavior of the existent information; it is inferred; that the tourist activity goes hand by hand with the development plans of the country with their highs and lows, reason why, apparently, neither of them, meet the tourist development in terms of productive yield and long range competitiveness. At the end of the work and with the results of the analysis, strategic wise proposals are generated for the sector such as the restructuring of tourist market nests and the tourist education.
