ABSTRACT: At present the Ministry of Health through the national health system, reports that 45% of people hospitalized for elective surgery presents preoperative anxiety, which manifests somatic, psychological, and behaviorally. These events invariably affect subjective well-being of the hospitalized person. It has been established through various studies, the relationship between preoperative patients and anxiety, however, has neglected to continue psychological therapy. For this reason, it is essential to break into that aspect. Neurolinguistic Programming is then a formal, dynamic model of how the mind and human perception, it also presents innovative alternatives to address various problems in a short time and effectively. Neurolinguistic Programming techniques and specific "Pass the movie backwards"(Andreas, 1998), is an innovative new procedure that seeks to neutralize the unpleasant feelings of anxiety preoperatively, whose effectiveness and influence will be tested in the study. Therefore, the investigation will be pioneering approach to Neurolinguistic Programming in the problem, and seeks to contribute to the Clinical Psychology and Health different method of intervention, practical and effective (through Neurolinguistic Programming techniques) to manage the preoperative anxiety, benefiting primarily the patient's subjective well-being, family and medical staff. |
